When those prickly
stubs of hair on your chin
touch the milky skin
of my body, I will respond with
goosebumps that scream,

it sounds more like two hearts beating

in over drive. And as you move your hands
over my torso like tectonic plates, I realize
those fireflies in your eyes mean
we exist in this world
