Squeeze Me Tighter August 4, 2009

as we fall like pieces of the
Berlin wall onto
leather sofa cushions. Then
you kiss me as if we
are under the slide
on a playground and
nobody is watching.

When those prickly
stubs of hair on your chin
touch the milky skin
of my body, I will respond with
goosebumps that scream,
“I want you so good..” but to us
it sounds more like two hearts beating

in over drive. And as you move your hands
over my torso like tectonic plates, I realize
those fireflies in your eyes mean
we exist in this world
and the sensation occurring
between us is
seriously electric.
